Gold Just Had Its Worst Week Since 2021
Gold had its worst week since 2021 in the wake of the latest rush back to risk assets.
Gold futures fell $153.40 per troy ounce, or 4.6%, to $3,182 per troy ounce this week, which is the largest percent decline since June 18, 2021 and the largest dollar decline since March 13, 2020, according to Dow Jones Market Data.
Gold futures are now 6.7% off their May 6 record high of $3,411.40 an ounce but up 31.9% in the past year.
