S&P 500, Nasdaq Stumble as Indexes Eye Record Closes
Stocks fell from grace on Friday—and a new update from President Donald Trump may have done it.
After marking new intraday highs, the S&P 500 and tech-heavy Nasdaq Composite have been standing near session lows on Friday afternoon.
The S&P 500 was up 0.1%, while the Nasdaq was flat. The indexes are still near levels needed to mark record closes.
