Safehold Special Risk, part of Innovation Growth Partners Specialty, has rolled out a Specialised Equipment Coverage Programme in association with Concert Specialty Insurance Company, a member of the Concert Group.

The programme will provide insurance coverage for contractors' equipment within the agricultural, construction and forestry industries.

The coverage options enable stand-alone policies or integration with other Safehold Special Risk programmes.

Contractors with equipment can also opt for blanket coverage.

This programme is not accessible in the following US states: Alaska, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Maine, New Jersey, New York, Oregon and Wisconsin.

Concert Group chief underwriting officer Joe Alberti said: “We are delighted to partner with Safehold in support of this highly specialised programme. As we continue to build a diversified book of business, we look for opportunities to provide innovative solutions to niche sectors of the market. This programme is nicely aligned with that objective.”

Concert Group is an insurance holding company providing fronting and related services across the US through its subsidiaries.

Safehold Programs President John Paulk III stated: “Our team of insurance experts manage equipment risk exposures, allowing us to leverage our in-house underwriters who understand the nuances of equipment risk. Whether it is a single tractor or a schedule of mobile equipment worth millions of dollars, this new programme helps our clients access specialised coverage options at competitive prices.”

Operating nationally, Safehold Special Risk offers insurance solutions to various niche markets and industries throughout the US, functioning as a managing general underwriter with authority to underwrite on behalf of both admitted and non-admitted carriers.
