Nvidia Stock Rises on Earning Beat but the Outlook Disappoints
Nvidia reported solid earnings late Wednesday but provided a revenue forecast for the July quarter that was below expectations.
For its April quarter, the semiconductor company reported adjusted earnings per share of 81 cents, compared to Wall Street’s consensus estimate of 73 cents, according to FactSet.
Nvidia said adjusted EPS would have been 96 cents excluding a $4.5 billion charge in the first quarter associated with H20 excess inventory.
