DJT Stock Is Recovering. Trump Media Still Had a Bad Week.
Shares of Trump Media & Technology, the parent of the Truth Social site, was gaining early Friday after plunging 8% on Thursday.
The stock moves Thursday underscored that whatever points President Donald Trump and Elon Musk scored against each other in their public back and forth, they both lost in the market. DJT was rising 1.2% before the market opened. By comparison, Tesla shares plunged 14% Thursday but were up 5% in Friday’s premarket.
Coming into Friday's session, DJT was down 5.7% over the past five days and was almost 20% lower over the past month.
