S&P 500 Scrapes Out a Sixth Daily Gain as Investors Shrug Off Downgrade
The S&P 500 scraped out another daily gain to bring its winning streak to six days.
The market benchmark rose 0.1%.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average gained 137 points, or 0.3%, aided by shares of UnitedHealth Group, which added about 147 points to the index as it gained more than 8%. The Nasdaq Composite was up slightly.
