Dow Turns Positive Year to Date as Index Jumps 300 Points in Friday's Session
Who says UnitedHealth is a drag on the Dow?
The blue-chip index turned positive year to date with a gain of 300 points, or 0.7%, on Friday. The S&P 500 was up 0.6%. The Nasdaq Composite was up 0.4%.
UnitedHealth, which has dragged on the Dow for much of this year, surged 6% on Friday to add 100 points to the index on its own.
