CPAmerica to launch business development training
CPAmerica has announced its new business development cohort, CPAmerica Growth Masters: Business Development for CPAs, set to begin this July.
This programme will be delivered in collaboration with The Rainmaker Companies, aiming to enhance the capabilities of emerging leaders in public accounting firms.
The Rainmaker Companies owner Angie Grissom said: “Firms that will thrive in the future are the ones investing intentionally in developing their next generation of leaders—not just as technical experts, but as trusted advisors and growth-minded professionals.
“The Growth Masters program is about equipping high-potential CPAs and Advisors with the business development mindset and skills they need to lead with confidence, build meaningful client relationships, and drive sustainable growth.”
The Growth Masters initiative has been designed to provide participants with crucial business development skills essential for sustainable growth within their organisations.
The programme is specifically designed for CPAs and offers foundational training for service providers at different stages of their careers.
Its goal is to assist managers and partners in improving their business development skills and expanding their client portfolios.
Capped at 24 participants, the exclusive Growth Masters programme will span 18 months, incorporating both face-to-face and virtual sessions.
Participants will have the chance to accrue up to 56 Continuing Professional Education (CPE) credits during the course of the programme.
CPAmerica president and CEO Grace Horvath said: “We are thrilled to announce our partnership with The Rainmaker Companies to deliver this transformative business development training.
"Through surveys and conversations with members, it became clear that business development training, designed specifically for CPAs, was necessary to support our members' needs.
“This programme addresses the pressing need for specialised training tailored for CPAs and equips our members with essential tools for sustainable growth. We are proud to bring this vital initiative to our members.”
