On May 21, NVIDIA Corporation (NASDAQ:NVDA) selected the company to be part of its next-generation 800 V HVDC architecture tailored for data centers.
Nvidia’s 800 V HVDC architecture is tailored to enable high-efficiency, scalable power delivery for next-generation artificial intelligence workloads. Navitas Semiconductor’s high-power GaNSafe power ICs are a perfect fit for the solution as they can integrate control, drive, sense, and enable unprecedented reliability and robustness in AI data centers.

Additionally, Nvidia settled on Navitas Semiconductor owing to the company’s innovations in high-power GaN and SiC technologies. The technologies have created new inflections into markets, such as AI data centers and electric vehicles. Navitas Semiconductor shares exploded by more than 170% in pre-market on the confirmation of the strategic partnership with Nvidia. The rally comes on the deal putting the company in the spotlight as a key supplier of high-performance GPU systems. The deal also positions the company to capitalize on the growing demand for AI data centers.
