S&P 500 Rises for Fifth Day in a Row. Indexes Marked Best Week Since April Tariff Rollback.
The S&P 500 rose for a fifth day in a row as the major indexes capped off their best week since the Trump administration began temporarily rolling back tariffs in April.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 332 points, or 0.8%. The S&P 500 gained 0.7%. The Nasdaq Composite rose 0.5%.
The major indexes all wrapped up their best weeks since April 11.
