Wall Street is starting to see Donald Trump as the president who cried "tariffs."
The market settled into an afternoon lull after the president briefly sent volatility spiking with his first major tariff threats in weeks.
The Dow was down 140 points, or 0.3%. The S&P 500 was down 0.4%. The Nasdaq Composite was down 0.6%.
